Think about it, somewhere somehow you invested something towards the relationship you have with those you are close to.
It might have been capital while doing small things for them; it might have been time through supporting them when they felt low and sad about certain issues.
Where there was investment you will notice there will be strong support systems, strong communications among the people involved. What you tend to invest towards situations and challenges is what you tend to get somewhere somehow.
